Sabancı University's Executive Development Unit (EDU), which organizes customized programs for organizations and training programs open to individuals, has been approved for full membership in UNICON, the Global Consortium of Businessschoolbased Executive Education Organizations. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, UNICON aims to accelerate the development of leaders and executives and increase performance in organizations through activities such as conferences, research projects, benchmarking, and extensive networking among members. UNICON currently has members from 115 organizations worldwide.

The standards set by UNICON must be met for full membership to the Consortium, which includes 115 highly reputable higher education organizations such as Harvard Business School, Yale, Duke, MIT, London School of Economics, Berkeley, Cambridge and Columbia Business School. These standards include being a university focusing on executive education and development, meeting UNICON's educational standards and demonstrating commitment to the Consortium's goals and activities.
