We would like to remind you that all documents, videos, audio, and visual recordings (“Content”) shared online during training purchases made through the Sabancı University Executive Development Unit Website contain personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
Accordingly, it is strictly prohibited for participants to record, copy, reproduce, publish, or share any part or the entirety of this content using any device (e.g., mobile phone, camera, audio recorder) without prior written consent from Sabancı University.
Any such action constitutes a breach of personal data rights under KVKK and may result in serious legal and criminal consequences. In such cases, Sabancı University assumes no legal or criminal liability, and full responsibility lies with the individual(s) involved. This notice is provided as an informational message in accordance with Articles 8 and 10 of the KVKK.

Sabancı University Personal Data Processing and Consent Statement
Sabancı University processes personal data of all stakeholders in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), acting as a data controller. Below you can find information regarding the purpose, method, and transfer of your personal data.
Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data
Sabancı University collects and processes personal data primarily to fulfill its educational, academic, and research objectives. As the Data Controller, your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- Promotion of the event and creation of a data source for future events
- Recording, storing, updating, transferring, and/or classifying data in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK
In this context:
- Relevant departments and designated administrative staff of Sabancı University process personal data to ensure the continuation of event-related activities and necessary record-keeping
- Personal data of participants in events, courses, development programs, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and meetings organized by the University are processed for the purposes of fostering social engagement and development
Transfer of Your Personal Data
In line with the educational, research, and event-related objectives of Sabancı University, your personal data may be shared as permitted by Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK. This includes:
- Limited and necessary sharing with subcontractors, educators, training partners, and event personnel, with legal and contractual safeguards in place
Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Your Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through verbal, written, or electronic means to ensure the effective delivery of services and organization of event activities. Processing and transfer of data are carried out in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK and for the purposes described in this notice.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, individuals whose personal data is processed have the right to:
- Learn whether their personal data has been processed
- Request information about the data that has been processed
- Understand the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly
- Learn whether their data has been transferred domestically or internationally
- Request correction, deletion, or updating of personal data if the reasons for processing are no longer valid
- Object to adverse outcomes arising from the processing of personal data
For Inquiries and Requests
You may submit your inquiries and applications regarding KVKK by sending a signed and written request, including your identity information, phone number, and address, via registered mail or by personally delivering it to the address below. Alternatively, you can send your request with a secure electronic signature to sabanciuniversitesi@hs03.kep.tr.
Requests will be processed and responded to within 30 days free of charge. However, if your request results in additional costs, a fee may be charged as determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
